Jeff Sanders, our Founder and Managing Director, is an accomplished financial executive. With more than 20 years in the CFO role, his experience spans five separate companies across four different industries including telecommunications, energy, professional services and media. He has partnered with multiple owners and CEOs as a critical financial advisor to develop and execute strategies to grow business value and to successfully exit.
In his role as a CFO, Jeff's accomplishments include the following:
• Recruited and led teams of up to 40 professionals covering accounting, financial reporting, treasury management, FP&A, risk management, lender and investor relations, corporate finance, and M&A
• Guided two high-growth companies from startup to over $100 million in revenue
• Worked side-by-side with CEOs and Boards of Directors to complete restructurings and successful turnarounds in two businesses
• Originated, negotiated and closed over $2.5 billion in financings, including senior secured debt, public high yield notes, subordinated debt, mezzanine securities, joint ventures, and private equity
• Sourced, negotiated, closed and integrated 43 acquisitions, representing over $2.3 billion in value
• Completed 12 divestitures, including three successful exit transactions
Jeff is a graduate of the Robert J. Trulaske Sr. College of Business at the University of Missouri with a BSBA, Summa Cum Laude. He earned his MBA, With Distinction, from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys college and professional football, as well as traveling with his wife, especially to destinations involving beaches and wineries, and hanging out with their two Pomeranian-Huskies, Sophie and Shadow.
